Mikaela is a Finnish dressage rider based in the Netherlands. She has been part of the finnish team since 1997 with many achievements at pony, junior, young rider and senior levels and has several finnish championship medals from those categories. She rides and trains horses at every stage of their development from young horses up to Grand Prix-level. In 2019 Mikaela was part of the Finnish team competing at Nations Cup in Denmark and at the European Championships in Rotterdam with her own horse Dacor that she has trained from a youngster. The combination also won CDI*** GP special at Hickstedt, UK. In 2021 Mikaela once again represented Finland at the europaen Championship with Hot Casanova (owned by Katja Kuistila). Team Finland finished 6th in the team competition and Mikaela and Hottis got to the individual semi final.
In 2022 Mikaela and Hot Casanova competed at World Championship in Herning.
